Dr. Wei Xiangqing
Dr. Wei Xiangqing Professor & PhD Supervisor of English Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, in the English Department, School of foreign languages, Nanjing University. Currently, Prof. Wei is the Director of the MTI Education Centre and Bilingual Dictionary Research Centre at Nanjing University and also serves as a vice president of The Lexicographical Society of China. Her main research interests are bilingual lexicography and interdisciplinary research on terminology and translation studies. She has successively presided over and completed a number of national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, published many English-Chinese dictionaries, academic monographs, translated works, and more than 80 journal articles both at home and abroad. Prof. Wei has won the national, provincial and ministerial excellent scientific research achievement awards for many times.

Dr Adam Smith
Dr Adam Smith has worked as a researcher and teacher in the Linguistics Department at Macquarie University, Australia, since the mid-1990s. He is a corpus linguist with a long-standing interest in lexicography and terminography, which he has pursued both at a practical level – in work for the Macquarie Dictionary and online specialised ‘termbanks’ in fields such as medicine and law – and as a topic of research. He has presented papers regularly at Australex (Australasian Association for Lexicography), of which he is a former president, and has published in journals such as Dictionaries, Lexicography and the Australian Journal of Linguistics.

Dr. Ana Frankenberg-Garcia
Dr. Ana Frankenberg-Garcia?is Reader?in Translation Studies and Programme Leader of the?MA in Translation?at the University of Surrey, UK.?Her research focuses on the intersection of corpus linguistics and writing, translation and lexicography. She has published widely in these domains, and?led many professional development workshops on practical applications of corpora. Ana’s work also includes?ColloCaid?(a text editor to assist writers with academic English collocations),?COMPARA?(a parallel?corpus of Portuguese and English fiction), the bilingual?Oxford Portuguese Dictionary, and the?Supporting the Internationalization of Brazilian Research?project.

Shigeru Yamada
Shigeru Yamada is Professor at Waseda University, Japan. He was a Co-Editor-in-Chief of Lexicography: Journal of ASIALEX (2016-2020). He specializes in EFL and bilingual lexicography. His recent publications include “Monolingual Learners’ Dictionaries – Where Now?” (2013, Ch. 4.5, The Bloomsbury Companion to Lexicography) and Guide to the practical usage of English monolingual learners’ dictionaries: Effective ways of teaching dictionary use in the English class (2014, OUP). He also edited and contributed to Lighthouse Japanese-English Dictionary (5/e, 2008, Kenkyusha), Dictionnaire Japonais-Fran?ais/Fran?ais-Japonais (2009, Assimil/K Dictionaries), Daily Concise Japanese-English Dictionary (8/e, 2016, Sanseido), and Oxford Companion to the English Language (2/e, 2018).
